Billy obtained his Law Degree in 1990 and Diploma in Legal Practice in 1991, both from the University of Aberdeen. He commenced his training in 1991 and has worked within various firms at all levels since then, becoming a Partner at Culley & McAlpine in 2021. He is responsible for the conveyancing department and assists with all aspects of domestic house sales and purchases. He also has an interest in Children’s Law and is regularly appointed by the Sheriff Court to investigate and report on cases involving children, such as adoptions and residence/contact disputes. Additionally, he serves as a Safeguarder within the Children’s Hearing process. Outside of work, Billy is a keen musician and has played in various bands.
