Wills, Executries & POA

Wills

When we have clients seeking to instruct us in relation to making a Will, we have a discussion between them to advise in relation to legal matters arising how the Will is to be made and what it affects after death.

We have a set fee for a standard Will.  We will give you a quote in respect of any more complicated instructions.

Executory Advice

Executry is the legal term for the process after someone has passed away. This is usually undertaken by the Executor who will be named in the Will.  Whether or not a Will has been made, an application will need to be made to the Court to appoint an Executor.

The Executor would have to collect in all the assets and deal with the decisions of the Estate. We can advise on the process and we can give advice on the Executory process.

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a deed of authority granted by a person in favour of a trusted individual.  This person can thereafter deal with financial matters and personal welfare.

We will have a preliminary meeting to discuss the needs of the individual.  Our Solicitors will advise you in respect of the legal position in preparing this deed and onward application to the Office of Public Guardian.
